As of the new year I will be hosting trunk shows featuring designers that I have had in my stores and also new designers that I have discovered . The location of the trunk shows will be determined later. Stayed tuned.

Update Fancy Nancy's Boutique

My plans are to create an online boutique which hopefully will be up and running by December of 2008. The online boutique will consist of clothing from the waist up , fashion tips , interior design and decorating tips for the home. I will also be doing holiday decorating for the home or office. By the end of this week I will have a menu of prices for holiday decorating and interior design. Please post any comments or questions you have regarding fashion or home design . I will be checking my blog everyday.

I am so pleased with Nic & Zoe that I just received another shipment along with some other beautiful unique and sophisticated styles. Pictured on the left are some of the beautiful styles of Nic & Zoe "new arrival" which may be worn for many different occasions. I have also discovered that this line is not just for 1 season but may be worn for Spring, Summer & Fall simply by adding a jacket or sweater and a different style of shoe.

Tunic - Retro Trend Back Again

Fancy Nancy is always up on the latest trend and one style that seems to keep coming back again and again is the ever beautiful Tunic. How retro it is!
In the photo above you will see the halter style Tunic one of many that I carry in my boutique. The Tunic may be worn with either pencil jeans, or legging's. Actually, you can wear the Tunic as a dress with a pair of strap low heel or flat sandal. Great look for vacation.
To accessorize your outfit I suggest a beautiful pair of earrings - either medium or a long length and a bracelet to match. No necklace necessary - it would get lost in the Tunic.

A Warm Heart Felt Thank You!

A warm, heart felt Thank You to all of those who attended my 1 year Anniversary Celebration. Without you the celebration would not have been as joyous!
I would also like to Thank those who brought me cards and flowers adding more joy to my celebration. Pictured on the left are 2 of the most beautiful floral arrangements I received during my celebration. I just had to share these with you - Spring did arrive early at Fancy Nancy's with these beautiful aromatic flowers!
I truly had a great time seeing all of you and being able to help fulfill your fashion needs. Throughout this celebration I learned a lot from servicing you and the questions asked - Thank You. I sincerely appreciate your input. I did come to realize that I need more yellow in my clothing. So many of you said how much you love yellow and the sales of the yellow tunic with the balloon hem confirmed that realization. Do you believe I sold all of the yellow tunic's and the eggplant pleated, balloon hem top.

Great friend opening a new restaurant in downtown Palatine

Formerly known as Savannah's Restaurant in Barrington is now reopening in downtown Palatine just 4 doors east of my store under the new name Mint Julep Bistro. Look for the opening around the 20th of March. FYI Savannah's was Gray's favorite restaurant. Looking forward to enjoying homemade sophisticated southern cooking again.

Fancy Nancy's 1 Year Annivesary Party!

Come celebrate my 1 year anniversary with me on Friday, March 14 - 10 am to 9 pm and Saturday, March 15 - 10 am to 5 pm. In addition to this exciting event I will be introducing a new skin care line from Gwendolyn's Gate called "Chrysalis"-It's All About Transformation!
